The Roslindale Community Center and Flaherty Swimming Pool will be closed on Monday, Sept 3, 2018 in observation of Labor Day.
The City of Boston will declare a Heat Emergency starting at 12 noon today.
Effective at 12 noon today all BCYF swimming pools will adhere to the following (schedule change):
- ALL BCYF pools must be open for open swim.
- ALL programs scheduled for today after 12 noon will be cancelled.
- People are not required to have memberships to swim
they only need to complete an Aquatics drop in form.
- The state safety code of 25 to 1 ratio of swimmers to Lifeguards
will be enforced.
This will start at 12 noon today and is in effect for today only.

Summer Program (kid's camp) at Roslindale Community Center. We are now working through the waiting list for age 7-12. If still interested please call to get on the list. Age 4-6 has several openings available now. Program runs 8 am-6 pm, Mon-Fri, starting July 9. Breakfast and lunch provided by BPS. Cost is $190/week per child. CCCB/EEC vouchers accepted. Boston Neighborhood Basketball League (BNBL)
Pee Wee Basketball Leagues
Registration period is now open. Limit (Roslindale) of 80 children total. Sign-up is first come, so please do not delay.
This year all registrations for BNBL at the BCYF Roslindale Community Center requires picking up a paper registration form at the center located at 6 Cummins Highway, Roslindale. Registration forms will be available Monday-Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:45 PM. Please see Athletic Director John Cameron for the forms.
BNBL is free and open to boys and girls ages 6-Years, through 11-years 11-months. Membership in BCYF is required.
If you do not have an existing membership in BCYF an opportunity to join will be made available at registration. Family ($50/year), Single adult ($30/year), Youth only ($20/year). BCYF memberships are honored at all BCYF Community Centers and Swimming Pools citywide for general admission. Individual activity fees or program fees may apply at some BCYF facilities.
BNBL Games will be played at the BCYF Roslindale Community Center on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Teams will be assigned game times at 6:00 pm or 7:00 pm.
